Welcome to PIP (Preschool Intervention Program)!

Rocky View Schools’ Preschool Intervention Program (PIP) is a language-enriched, play-based, developmentally appropriate preschool environment that supports children 3-5 years of age with mild, moderate, or severe developmental delays. Class sizes are kept small to accommodate for low child/adult ratios.  PIP is staffed by a Special Education Teacher and Educational Assistants. Therapeutic support is provided in the classroom from qualified Speech/Language Pathologists (SLP), Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists. Behavioral Psychologists also consult to the program.  Program Unit Funding (PUF) from Alberta Education can be accessed for children who fit the funding criteria. To find out more about PIP, you are welcome to attend our January information sessions, meet the staff, see the facility, and see how PIP can help your child meet his/her potential.
